Softball results for Tuesday, May 31

Men’s Green Division Bone Island Grille/Rappleye Farms 22  JVB Investments/Brass Rail 1.  Josh Woolworth went 4 for 4 with 2 triples, a double and 6 RBIs while Rich Vinton went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and 4 RBI’s for Bone Island/Rappleye Farms.  Travis McCann went 1 for 1 with a walk for JVB/Brass Rail.   Dekes Uptown Tire & Auto 21  Arbor Woods 20.  Dekes came back from a 17 to 3 start after 3 innings. Adam Gorsuch drove in Adam  Waskiewicz with the winning run in the bottom of the 7th inning.  Nate Lamb led Dekes going 5 for 6 while Kevin Merrill also went 5 for 6 with 3 doubles and 5 RBIs.  Chad Ottney went 5 for 5 to lead Arbor Woods.   Murph’s Pumps 9  The Steins 8.  Murph’s Pumps scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 7th to come from behind and claim the victory.  Mark Bradly hit a 3 run home run.  Bradly also had a double and a single while Kyle Henry went 3 for 4 with a double for Murph’s.  Adam Maxson went 3 for 3 for The Steins.   Broken Yoke Café 29  Rives 9.  Andy Martinkiewicz went 4…

Footgolf at Cascades Short Course

Friday, May 27th Cascades opened the first footgolf course in Jackson County at the Cascades Short Course. Footgolf is a combination of golf and soccer. You play following regular golf rules but kick a soccer ball into a 21” hole that is to the side of either the fairway or existing greens.  We welcome soccer teams who are looking for a fun, alternative way to practice and the formation of summer leagues.   Cost: $6.00 for 9 holes or $10.00 for 18 holes.  Soccer balls are available to rent for an additional $2.00.
