Jackson native Andrew Craft is one of four members of the Fox News Channel "Reporter Training Program" who have been given field assignments for the network. The program trains relatively green reporters and puts them in the field for two years. Craft has been working at Fox News as a production assistant for daytime programming since September, 2014. Craft is being assigned to Las Vegas and begins work there later this month. Other new reporters include Terace Garnier, Ray Bogan and Willie Inman, all who have previous experience in local news and are being assigned throughout the country. The reporters serve as a "one-man bureau": enterprising, writing, reporting and shooting their own video. For the past two weeks, the four new reporters received writing and breaking news reporting training from FNC anchors Bill Hemmer and Harris Faulker. Craft told JTV he is excited about the opportunity and is one step closer to his dream job of being a network news correspondent.
