The evening included presentations by Dr. Daniel Phelan, Jackson College President, Jackson Mayor Derek Dobies, 64th District State Representative Julie Alexander and U.S. Congressman Tim Walberg. Invocation by Pastor James Hines. Performances by Sisters of Strength, Men of Merit and Middle School at Parkside students. The Martin Luther King, Jr. Medal of Service Award was presented to Alan Wade, with introduction by Golden Gibson.
