Winter Storm Warning Continues thru 7 PM

WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH 7 PM EST FRIDAY NIGHT.  Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 7 to10 inches are expected.  Plan on difficult travel conditions, including during the morning and evening commutes.  Be prepared for significant reductions in visibility at times. Widespread snow will impact southern Lower Michigan today and will be heavy at times near and south of the Interstate 94 corridor. The snow will gradually end from northwest to southeast this afternoon and early evening.  Cold weather and occasional light snow will continue over the  weekend.  The weather for next week looks much less active, with high temperatures moderating above freezing by mid to late week. Winter Storm Warning Continued for Tonight and Friday

WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO MIDNIGHT EST FRIDAY NIGHT.  Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 12 inches are expected.  Plan on difficult travel conditions, including during the morning and evening commutes on Friday.  Be prepared for significant reductions in visibility at times. A low pressure system will bring significant snow to southern lower Michigan late tonight through Friday. Travel will be very hazardous along the I-94 corridor Friday where 7 to 10 inches of snow is expected. More snow is expected through the weekend.
