Girls basketball Tecumseh 75, Hanover-Horton 29: Hanover-Horton High School girls’ basketball Coach Joe Lusk was content with being the head coach of the Michigan Center Cardinals for more than a decade before resigning earlier in the year. But when family became involved, he couldn’t turn down the head coaching position at Hanover-Horton as his granddaughter and daughter are involved in the basketball program. Lusk says the Comets are “learning to play together a little bit at a time.” Unfortunately for the Comets they met an experienced squad on the road Wednesday in a 75-29 non-conference loss to Tecumseh. “We have problems scoring but we are working through that,” Lusk said. Morgan Kuhl finished with nine points and six rebounds for the Comets. McKenna Easter finished with six points for Hanover-Horton (2-3 overall). Alli Zajac finished with 28 points and Chesney Wilke added 20 points for Tecumseh (7-0).  Hockey Flint Powers Catholic 5, Lumen Christi 1:  Kavin Kennedy scored his 11th goal of the season but it was not enough as the Titans fell on the road.
