(December 29, 2022 4:42 PM) The Croswell-Lexington High School boys basketball team used an 18-9 run in the third quarter to pull out a game against Michigan Center in the Spring Arbor University Shot Clock Classic. CL won 55-44 in the third of five games at SAU on Thursday. Zach Kroetsch scored 20 points and Trey Kolakovich added 12 points, five assists, and three steals in the win for CL. Michigan Center was led by Hunter Clemons with 15 points and Adrien Putnam added 14 points and four assists for the Cardinals (4-3).

(December 29, 2022 2:58 PM) Napoleon High School had four players in double figures in a 76-68 win over Northwest in the Spring Arbor University Shot Clock Classic on Thursday. Grant Bradley scored 19 points and pulled down 10 rebounds, Trent Jester finished with 12 rebounds and 18 points, DeVonta Habern scored 14 points, and Carsen Godfrey tallied 10 points for Napoleon (6-0). Northwest was led by Duncan Moffitt with 16 points and eight assists for the Mounties. Jalen Jordan scored 15 points and Briston Armstrong added 11 points and six rebounds for Northwest (4-2).
(December 29, 2022 12:49 PM) Concord High School found its scoring touch in the second half, earning a 53-46 win over East Jackson in the Spring Arbor University Shot Clock Classic on Thursday. The Yellow Jackets trailed by two points at halftime. Mekhi Wingfield scored 23 points, Anthony Evans tallied 20 points and dished six assists, and freshman Connor Stevens added eight rebounds for Concord (4-2). East Jackson was led by Kaden Boatright with 16 points and Amarr Hunter added 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Trojans (1-5).

Boys basketball Lumen Christi at Flint Powers Tournament: Lumen Christi won its second game in the tournament, improving to 3-1 on the season with a 44-34 win. Joe Lathers scored 14 points and pulled down five rebounds, Luke Tropea scored 10 points and dished three assists, and Kasen Burgess scored 10 points for the Titans. Three wins equals the total posted by LCCHS last year.
