Registration Opens for City Championship

(July 12, 2023 10:40 AM ET) Registration is now open for the 98th City Championship golf tournament, which will be played Aug. 6-12 at Cascades Golf Course. The tournament is open to all amateur golfers who reside or work in Jackson County, as well as those who have played in the City Championship or Jackson Masters previously or who have graduated from a Jackson County high school or college. The tournament begins with a qualifying round on Aug. 6, followed by match play leading to the 36-hole championship match on Aug. 12. Entry fee is $120, or $75 for high school students. Players who do not qualify for match play or who are eliminated in the first round will receive vouchers for additional rounds of golf. Entry deadline is 5 p.m. Aug. 2. Entry can be made online at jacksongolf.net, and entry forms are also available at the Cascades, Sharp Park, Arbor Hills and CC of Jackson pro shops and can be returned to Cascades.
