Volleyball Michigan Center 3, Columbia Central 1: The Cardinals scored a 26-24 win on game four to pull out the match. Sam Wynn finished with 16 kills and 21 digs, Kaylee Johnson had three aces at the service line, and Lauren Vanvalkenburg tallied 14 digs for the Cardinals. Rylie Aylesworth scored five blocks and five kills for CCHS. Kenzie Duncan finished with 32 digs and Alison Richardson scored 10 kills and 15 assists for the Golden Eagles.  Concord 3, Quincy 0: The Yellow Jackets rallied from a 23-14 deficit to win game three and sweep the match.  Grass Lake 3, Jonesville 0: The Warriors earned a Cascades Conference win on the road Tuesday. Hanna Alvarez recorded 23 digs, Mia Buttigieg finished with 28 assists, and Olivia Turner scored 11 kills for the Warriors. Addison 3, Hanover-Horton 1: The Panthers appear to be one of the teams to beat in the new Cascades Conference with the victory.  Tekonsha 3, Jackson Christian 2: The Royals lost 15-5 in game five in a very close match. 2023 Jen Meade Memorial Community Run.  Benefitting Special Olympics Michigan and presented by Law Enforcement Torch Run.  Check in time 10 AM, start time 10:30 AM.  Lyle Torrant Center, Jackson.  Cost:  $30, included the annual LETR shirt.  Money raised through the Flame of Hope Community Runs go to support Special Olympics athletes who compete year round at no cost.  Trough these events, you are helping to raise funds and create awareness for those with intellectual disabilities.  Come join us!  Registration and more information here. Toddler Tour:  Eco-Art Explorers.  It’s never too early to start visiting museums! Join us for our monthly Toddler Tour program, each with their own fun theme. These programs last approx. 45 minutes and are designed for children ages 2-5.  This month, the little ones will have the opportunity to explore our new Tossed n’ Found exhibit and discover how reducing, reusing, and recycling can help protect our planet. They will then put their newfound knowledge into action by creating their own recycled sculpture, which they can proudly take home with them.
