Volleyball Columbia Central 3, Vandercook Lake 0: The Golden Eagles won 25-17, 26-16, and 25-10 improving to 2-1 in the Cascades Conference. Rylie Aylesworth finished with eight kills and four blocks and Cecelia Slat tallied seven kills for CCHS. Logan Renfer finished with 10 digs for Columbia Central (4-4 overall).  Bronson 3, Concord 2: The Yellow Jackets lost 15-10 in game five falling to Bronson at home Wednesday. Concord is 8-4-1 overall, 0-1 in the Big Eight Conference.  Hanover-Horton 3, East Jackson 0: The Comets earned a Cascades Conference win Wednesday.  Grass Lake 3, Homer 2: Grass Lake evened its Cascades Conference record at 1-1 with the win.  Eaton Rapids 3, Jackson 0: The Vikings fell 3-0 on the road Wednesday in non-conference action.  Addison 3, Napoleon 0  Springport 3, Maple Valley 0: The Spartans won 25-18,25-9, and 25-12 in non-conference action. Maddux Locke finished with eight kills and Rylee Siefert dished 24 assists for Springport (2-4-2 overall).  Western 3, Pennfield 0: The Panthers won 25-19, 25-10, and 25-16. The Green Market at Henry Ford.  Summer outdoor market:  Thursdays 9 AM – 2 PM. Corner of E. Mich. Ave. & Waterloo St., Jackson.  We focus on natural, sustainable Michigan produce and products.  All foods and products sold at The Green Market at Henry Ford Allegiance Health are grown and/or produced in Michigan using little or no pesticides, herbicides, inorganic fertilizers, or antibiotics.  This means healthier foods for the greater Jackson community and less pollution for our rivers and lakes.
