36th Annual Storyfest: Silver Tales. 11 AM. The largest storytelling festival in Michigan returns to Jackson County for the 36th straight year with musical performances, workshops, and - of course - storytelling. A four-day event, Storyfest brings famous storytellers to Jackson from all over the country. This year, dozens of storytellers will perform for all ages of students at schools throughout Jackson County schools Nov. 2 and 3. While the bulk of performances will be at area schools, adults are encouraged to attend the Silver Tales performance with the storytelling duo “San and Emily” performing songs and spinning yarns that will educate, entertain, and inspire.
