Jackson golfers have always been well represented in the state of Michigan.
This year’s high school female players were no exception.
Four players earned all-state honors for their play on the course, several others earned academic and golf honors, and a pair of coaches were named as regional coaches of the year.
Columbia Central High School golfer Logan Bentley was named to the Michigan Interscholastic Golf Coaches Association Super Team – considered the best nine players in the state of Michigan.
Bentley finished runner-up at the Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 4 state tournament for a third consecutive year.
Teammates Kelsey Fausz and Marrisa Berro also earned MIGCA awards for CCHS.
