Manchester 12, Concord 7: Ross Weeks had a pair of hits and knocked in three runs for Concord in the loss. Isaac O’Dell had two hits and walked twice for the Yellow Jackets (5-3).

Columbia Central 12, Concord 7: Ava Lyke had three hits and knocked in five runs for Columbia Central. Taylor Bayes earned the pitching win for CCHS with six strikeouts.

Northwest 4, Charlotte 1 Kenzie Noon scored two goals and Mallory Anspaugh earned the win in goal for the Mounties.
PGA Tournament
Brian Stuard shot a 1-under-par 70 at the RBC Heritage Classic tournament on the PGA Tour on Thursday. He had five birdies and four bogeys on the round. Stuard is currently in 46th place heading into the second round today (Friday). Stuard teed off at 7:22 this morning.
