Center for Family Health Walk-In Vaccine Clinic.  The Center for Family Health will offer a walk-in vaccination clinic for COVID-19 this Friday, April 30.  Hours are 8 AM to 4 PM.  It is safe, effective, and will help save lives.  The vaccine is free and no appointment needed.  Bring a friend and stop in at 505 North Jackson Street between 8 AM and 4 PM today to get your shot!

JCCAC Bike-A-Thon.  Virtual Event.  The Jackson County Child Advocacy Center offers support services to children affected by sexual abuse. The center has outgrown its space. Proceeds from this event will help us expand our current building. Jackson Area Career Center Plant Sale.  Get your gardens ready! The Jackson Area Career Center will be opening its greenhouses to the public for the 13th annual Agriscience/FFA Plant Sale during the first two Saturdays in May! Hours will be 8 am to noon on May 1st and May 8th. To keep things safe for everyone, staff and students will be limiting the number of people on-site, so please follow the traffic pattern and be sure to wear a mask! Career Center students appreciate your support!

10th Annual Southern Michigan Winter Beer Fest.  A Tasting of a wide variety of specialty craft beers along with Ciders and Meads. Fire pits, corn hole boards, and retail vendors along with food trucks. Craft Beer, Specialty Beer, Cider, Mead Tasting. The event is an Indoor/Outdoor event that also includes food vendors, retail vendors, games, music, and fire pits. Must be 21 years or older to attend.  The day of the event is $35.00.  12 PM to 5 PM.  American 1 Events Center, Keeley Park, Downtown Jackson.

Annual City-Wide Prayer Walk.  All denominations.  Every church can participate.  Walk at your own pace and ability.  The annual walk aims to have participants walk, choosing sections or blocks, to cover the entire city.  To sign up for an area, call 517-740-8444.
