
(June 1, 2021 12:00 PM) The Jackson County Health Department released the COVID-19 positive numbers for Jackson County. As of 12:00 PM today, there are 14,667 positive cases (cumulative), and 271 deaths (cumulative)*.
There are 26 new cases and 1 new death since Friday’s report.

As of May 26, there are 28 persons at Henry Ford Allegiance Health being treated as inpatients for COVID-19.
Jackson County Vaccination Coverage: 50.4% of Jackson County residents 12 and older have received first dose, 44.1% fully vaccinated (Moderna or Pfizer both doses, J&J single dose).
The cumulative numbers posted on Mondays include the data from Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Recovered numbers are being posted as received.
As of this week, postings will only occur Mondays – Fridays unless there is a holiday.
The Michigan Department of Corrections is reporting as of 4:30 PM May 24, there are 5,582 confirmed positive cases at Jackson facilities and 703 confirmed positive staff cases. MDOC positive case numbers are cumulative.
*These numbers do not reflect any cases or deaths identified through Michigan Department of Corrections. Their numbers are listed under a separate category and reported by the state at Michigan Statistics.
