Lumen Christi 3, Gabriel Richard 2: Lumen Christi pulled out the match with a 16-14 win in the fifth set Wednesday at home.

Coldwater 3, Western 2: The Panthers lost 19-17 in the fifth set in Interstate-8 action. Bayli Stewart finished with 14 kills, Izzy Schlundt recorded five blocks, Becca Brushaber dished 32 assists, J.J. Lewis added 23 digs, and Kasyn Saari served 29 points for Western.
Boys Soccer
Columbia Central 6, Michigan Center 2: The Golden Eagles wrapped up the Cascades Conference soccer title with the victory. It was the first conference title for CCHS since 2018. Connor Tripp and Miles Finch scored for the Cardinals and Henry Wright finished with 10 saves in net.

Girls Golf
Cascades Jamboree at Addison: Columbia Central won the jamboree at Lake LeAnn Golf Course with a 179, Michigan Center was second at 193, Concord took third at 197, East Jackson finished fourth scoring 200, Napoleon placed fifth at 214, Addison finished sixth scoring 231, and Grass Lake was seventh scoring 250. Logan Bentley of CCHS and Anna McCubbins of Napoleon were both under par with 34 and 35, respectively. Kylie McKee of Michigan Center finished third with a 39, Kelsey Fausz placed fourth with a 43, and Grace Thorrez of Concord shot a 45 for fifth place.
I-8 Championship: Harper Creek won the Interstate-8 Conference title taking the championship at Cedar Creek Golf Course with 364. Marshall was second (398), Northwest finished third (399), and Western fourth (404). Kaia Bruneel of Western finished as medalist at the conference final with an 85. Melia Piloske (94) tied for fifth for Northwest High School.

Jackson College 3, Grand Rapids CC 0: The Jets scored all three goals in the first half at home Wednesday. Goals were scored by Jillian Lester, Franny Parks, and Haley Hackett. Serenity Wieszciecinski and Taylor Crossian combined for the shutout in goal for JC (5-1-1). Jackson College travels to St. Clair County Community College Saturday for a 1 p.m. kickoff.

Spring Arbor 4, Bethel 0: Kaylee Beekel, Annika Arsenault,Malina Marshall, and Maislin Joldersma scored goals for SAU. Reagan Kohler earned the shutout in goal for the Cougars (6-2 overall, 1-0 CL).

Jackson College 0, Grand Rapids 0: The Jets tied Grand Rapids Community College at home Wednesday. Antonio Rodriguez earned the shutout in goal for Jackson College (1-5-1). The Jets travel to St. Clair Community College Saturday for a 3 p.m. start.
Bethel 3, Spring Arbor 2: SAU lost at home in college soccer action Wednesday. Jack Voight and Sahel Yessen scored goal for Spring Arbor. The Cougars are now 6-4 overall, 0-1 in Crossroads League.

Jackson College 3, St. Clair County CC 1: The Jets improved to 11-3 overall with a four-set win over St. Clair, 25-19, 29-25, 25-20, and 25-21. Allie Jarchow, Gracen Hager, and Samantha Wynn combined for 35 kills, Alivia Smith dished 39 assists, and Jaden Bates recorded 29 digs for Jackson College. The Jets are now 2-1 in Michigan Community College Eastern Division play. Jackson College travels to Macomb Community College Monday for a 7 p.m. start.
