Men’s Basketball

Spring Arbor 94, Grace Christian 83: The Cougars won the annual game in front of students from Western Community Schools. Gabe Newhof finished with 36 points and seven rebounds, Kevyn Robertson added 15 points, and Travis Grayson added 14 points for SAU (2-1). An estimated 2,500 fans saw the contest that began at 11 a.m. The Cougars were outscored 49-47 in the first half but turned it around outscoring Grace 47-34 in the second. SAU scored 48 points in the paint in the contest.
