Jackson Christian High School advanced to the Division 4 district finals with a win over Bellevue Wednesday.

Volleyball Districts

Division 1 at Sturgis

Coldwater 3, Northwest 1: The Mounties lost in the Division 1 district semifinal finishing the season with a 14-25-3 record.

Sturgis 3, Jackson 2: Jackson High School finishes the season with a 13-15-1 overall record.

Division 2 at Chelsea

Western 3, Pinckney 0: The Panthers advance to the district final Saturday at 11 a.m. at Chelsea High School. Bayli Stewart finished with 13 kills and Ella Wilcox added 10 kills for Western. Becca Brushaber added 29 assists and 16 digs and Sophia Heydenburg added 16 points at the service line for Western.

Columbia Central 3, Chelsea 2: The Golden Eagles pulled out the match with a 15-13 win in the fifth set. Columbia Central advances to face Western in the D-2 district final Saturday. Alison Richardson dished 33 assists, recorded nine kills, and created 24 digs for CCHS. Cecelia Slat added 25 digs for Columbia Central. The Golden Eagles face Western in the D-2 district final Saturday at 11 a.m.

Division 3 at Dansville

Lumen Christi 3, Springport 0: The Titans advance to play in the district final tonight (Thursday) at 7 p.m. with the victory.

Dansville 3, Leslie 1: The host school will face Lumen Christi in the district final Thursday at 7 p.m.

Division 3 at Quincy

Hanover-Horton 3, Quincy 0: The Comets swept Quincy advancing to the district final Friday at 6 p.m.

Hillsdale 3, Jonesville 1: The Hornets advance to the district final against Hanover-Horton with the victory.

Division 3 at Whitmore Lake

Grass Lake 3, Whitmore Lake 0: The Warriors easily defeated the host school Wednesday advancing to the district final against Manchester. Ashleigh Simon led Grass Lake with 12 kills, Reese Lape added six blocks, and Mia Buttigieg finished with 29 assists for Grass Lake. The Warriors will play in the district final Friday at 8 p.m.

Manchester 3, Brighton 0: Manchester faces Grass Lake in the district final Friday at 6 p.m.

Division 4 at Concord

Concord 3, Vandercook Lake 0: Iyla Weeks finished with 21 kills to lead Concord to the district final Thursday night. Annie Saenz added 11 kills and Bradie Lehman added 29 assists and six aces for CHS.

Jackson Christian 3, Bellevue 0: Madi Conrad finished with 25 assists and Ella Boll added 12 kills for Jackson Christian.

College Athletic Events

Women’s Soccer

Spring Arbor 6, Bethel 0: The Cougars easily won the Crossroads League quarterfinal matchup. Maislin Joldersma scored twice in the contest for SAU (14-3-1). SAU advances to host Grace College Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Crossroads league semifinal.

Men’s Soccer

Spring Arbor 3, Indiana Wesleyan 2 (OT): Spring Arbor upset No. 8 ranked Indiana Wesleyan on the road Wednesday. Matheus Cunha scored the game-winning goal five minutes into overtime. SAU faces Grace College Saturday in the Crossroads League semifinal.

Women’s Volleyball

Huntington 3, Spring Arbor 1: Kendall Bollenbacher finished with 17 kills and Camy Wedge added 26 assists for SAU (12-15).
