Columbia Central 60, Concord 55: The Golden Eagles jumped out to a 9-0 lead in the first few minutes of the Spring Arbor University Shot Clock Classic Friday. The Golden Eagles were led by Derek Sanders with 23 points including a key three-point play with just over a minute remaining in the game. Nolan Schiel also scored 17 points for CCHS. Concord was led by Darrell Dean with 20 points and Connor Stevens scoring 14 points.

Lenawee Christian 69, Springport 68 (OT): The Cougars won a battle of previously undefeated teams at the Shot Clock Classic at Spring Arbor University Friday. They jumped out to nearly a double-digit lead in the first period, but only led 28-25 at halftime. Every time it appeared as if LCHS would pull away, Springport would respond. Jake Kregel finished with 19 points and Dallas Higelmire tallied 16 points including the game-tying 3-point shot at the end of regulation. The Spartans could not stop Jaxon Salenbien of Lenawee Christian who scored 37 points in the win.

Northwest 73, Howardsville Christian 51: The Mounties have now won 3-of-4 improving to 3-5 on the season following the win at the Shot Clock Classic Saturday at Spring Arbor University. Jalen Jordan scored 19 points and Avery Anspaugh added 13 points for the Mounties.
Grass Lake 48, Erie Mason 38: Grass Lake is now 7-0 with a win Saturday at the Shot Clock Classic at Spring Arbor University. Bryant Cook finished with 10 points and 15 rebounds and Brayden Lape tallied nine rebounds for the Warriors.
Lumen Christi 70, Schoolcraft 55: Lumen Christi improves to 6-0 with the victory Saturday at the Shot Clock Classic at SAU. Luke Tropea finished with 21 points for the Titans, Delli Williams scored 19 points, and Ashton Callan scored 16 points in the win.
Mason 67, Jackson 60: The Vikings fell in the fourth game of the day at the Shot Clock Classic at Spring Arbor University Saturday. Jaydon Ross finished with 16 points, Berkley Drummond tallied 12 points, and Jakyi Aniston Brown finished with 11 points for Jackson.
Western 69, Hanover-Horton 60: Western High School won the final game of the Shot Clock Classic at Spring Arbor University. The Panthers are now 3-4 on the season while Hanover-Horton is 5-4. Justin Jones recorded a double-double for Western with 18 points and 10 rebounds. D.J. VanRiper finished with 16 points and Maverick Hammond tallied 11 points, seven rebounds, and four assists for the Panthers.

Northwest 36, Springport 34: Morgan Brooks hit a 3-point basket with one minute remaining in the contest giving Northwest the lead for good. The Mounties erased a 7-point deficit at halftime. Emerson Carroll scored 11 points to lead Northwest. Springport was led by Hattie Gray and Morgan Shoemaker with eight points apiece in the Spring Arbor University Shot Clock Classic Friday afternoon.
Lumen Christi 57, Lake Leelanau 34: Kenna Hunt finished with 27 points, Rylie O’Dowd added nine points, and Lucy Wrozek finished with eight points for Lumen Christi on the road Friday afternoon.

Montague Inv. (Girls): Alina Andrist of Jackson was fifth at 130 pounds; Bella Huston of Columbia Central finished fourth at 190 pounds; and Kaylee Bonner of Jackson was fourth and Aleah Gillett of Hanover-Horton sixth at 235 pounds at the all-girl invitational Friday.
Dec. 28
Fred Boss Memorial at Addison: Northwest High School won the event with a 5-0 record on the day. The Mounties won the Black Division and defeated Hillsdale from the Red Division in the final 46-36. Earning pins for NWHS in the final were Jack Edwards (150), Kaiden Goodman (190), Kolt Glaza (120), Thomas Fall (126), Evan Beuerle (132), and Blaine Anspaugh (138). Northwest won the last five individual matches to pull out the victory.

Eric Scott Holiday Matt Cat Classic: Hanover-Horton finished ninth as a team with top six finishes by A.J. Fielder who was second at 132 pounds; Gavin Berkeypile finished fourth at 144 pounds; and Austyn Hocter placed second at 190.
