(4-4-2026, 9:00AM): — Following a dominant 32-5 campaign in 2025, the Grass Lake Warriors are no longer a secret on the Michigan high school baseball circuit. While the roster remains deep with veteran talent, there is one name to keep an eye on: Camron Prater.
The 6’0”, 180-pound third baseman is a vastly different athlete than the one fans saw a year ago. After a breakout sophomore season where he started every game, batted .400, and made several MLB-type defensive plays, Prater spent the offseason in the weight room, adding 35 pounds.
Another fun note is that Camron batted .498 last season vs. pitchers that are already committed to the college level. The road ahead for this rising star on a stacked Grass Lake Warriors team is bright. After the high school season, Prater will be playing SS for the Motor City Hit Dogs 17U National S. Leonard/Emanuele team.
Keep an eye on the Prater and the Warriors here on JTV as they battle through a tough Cascades Conference and non-league schedule in 2026. Full schedule here: https://www.maxpreps.com/mi/grass-lake/grass-lake-warriors/baseball/schedule/
