Jackson, MI – American 1 Credit Union gave $1,000 to Hanover-Horton Schools after a student hit a half-court shot at half-time of the boys basketball game Tuesday night.

For being selected the individuals receive $50, if they make a half-court shot American 1 Credit Union awards them
$500, and the participating school then earns $1,000.
American 1 scheduled 11 events this basketball season, and the Hanover-Horton game was the 7th event, and the first in which a half-court shot was made. Video of the shot can be found at the American 1 Facebook page. Upcoming half-court shoot-out events will be at:
Vandercook High School February 9
