American 1 Credit Union has completed construction of their new Spring Arbor Branch. The new branch, at 6580 Spring Arbor Road (M-60) opened for business this week. The new building is the 15th American 1 branch and the seventh location in Jackson County.
“We are deeply invested in the Spring Arbor community,” said Martha Fuerstenau, American 1 Credit Union’s CEO and President. “Earlier this year we made $250,000 gift to renovate the McDonald Athletic Center at Spring Arbor University, demonstrating our commitment to Spring Arbor. We are honored to be part of this great community.”
The Spring Arbor Branch lobby is open from 9 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday and 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday, which are standard hours at most American 1 branches. The drive-thru will be open 8 am to 7 pm Monday through Thursday, 7 am to 7 pm on Fridays, and 8 am to 4 pm on Saturday. The branch features teller stations, member service areas, drive-thru lanes, and two convenient no-fee ATMs.

Following the opening of the Michigan Center branch early this year, American 1 Credit Union is continuing its growth in Michigan communities. American 1 is Jackson’s largest credit union, with over 58,000 members. In addition to Jackson, American 1 has branches in Washtenaw, Hillsdale, Calhoun, Lenawee, and Wayne counties.
