ArShawn Parker is ready to begin his next challenge after completing his Albion College men’s basketball career in March.
The Mumford High School product who will complete his requirements for an Albion degree during the 2019-2020 academic year, is working to raise funds for himself and a group of Albion students to attend a month-long InterVarsity Leadership Institute in Cedarville, Mich., this summer.
“I became a part of InterVarsity at the end of my sophomore year, and I slowly began to understand what it truly meant to be a Christian,” Parker said. “Since then, God has taken my faith and ran with it.”
“The leadership institute will train my classmates and me to be leaders on campus, in the church and the worlds for the rest of our lives,” he added. “It will change our lives.”
