BOYS RECAP

Coldwater defeats Lumen Christi 65-49 

Kaleb Boyce scored 13 points to lead Lumen Christi.

 

Michigan Center defeats East Jackson 61-34

Carter Wiley leads MC with 11 points and 6 rebounds.

 

Leslie wins the GLAC Championship in a 62-38 win over Lake Odessa Lakewood

Ayden Rutan scores 19 to lead Leslie to the 2020 Greater Lansing Activities Conference title. 

 

Concord defeats Bronson 48-46

Marley Sprague scores 23 to lead the Concord Yellowjackets.

 

Addison defeats Vandercook Lake 56-39

Caleb Gramm scores 19 points to lead Addison.

 

Grass Lake defeats Manchester 54-40

Trae Ruggles scored 22 points to lead the Grass Lake Warriors on Senior Night for 7 GLHS student-athletes.

 

Northwest defeats Battle Creek Pennfield 66-56 in 3 OT

Carson Cooper used his 6 foot 10 skyscraper height to pull down 13 rebounds and score 18 points in a hard-fought Triple OT victory on Friday night. 

 

Parma Western defeats Battle Creek Harper Creek 66-55

Makyle Doss, a former JTV Sports Player of the Week from earlier in the season scores 21 points to lead the Western Panthers. 

 

Homer defeats Jonesville 76-57

Demaso LeBron leads the Homer Trojans with 26 points, 7 steals, and 5 assists. 

 

SATURDAY RECAP

Jackson defeats Lumen Christi 55-41

The Jackson Vikings used a huge 16-7 run after a 9-5 1st quarter to gain control the rest of the way out for a non-conference Saturday Afternoon win. Our JTV Sports Player of the Game was Damarion Samuels who had 18 points and 7 rebounds. Daivion Boleware added 14 points and 13 rebounds. The Bailey Excavating Play of the Game was a put-back dunk off a missed free-throw early 3rd Quarter. Connor Spencer scored 14 points to lead the Titans. 

 

Hanover Horton defeats Detroit Martin Luther King 55-52

Mitch Sauber led Hanover Horton with 16 points, 4 steals, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists. Luc Laketa adds 14 points and 3 rebounds. Jack Brockie adds 12 points and 3 rebounds.

Springport defeats Union City 45-32

 

GIRLS RECAP

Parma Western defeats Battle Creek Harper Creek 51-35

Western wins the I-8 GBB Conference Championship for the first time since 2006. Hillary Griffin scored 21 points to lead the Panthers. 

 

Michigan Center defeats Addison 48-26

Alize Tripp scored 17 points to lead the Cardinals as they are 2020 Cascades Conference co-champions with Grass Lake.

 

Pinckney defeats Stockbridge 63-61

Gwen Rogozinksi led Stockbridge with 27 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists.

 

Lansing Waverly defeats Leslie 72-66

Tommi Fedewa scored 27 points including a perfect 18-18 from the FT line to lead Leslie.

 

Jonesville defeats Homer 48-39

Kenzie Baker scored a season-high 20 points to lead Jonesville.

 

Springport defeats Union City 62-16

Springport wins the 2020 Big 8 GBB Conference Championship, back-to-back champions as they won the 2019 crown. Alex Maher led the SHS Spartans with 21 points, 3 assists, and 3 steals as she surpassed the 1,000 points mark in her career.

 

Lumen Christi defeats Coldwater 62-51

Cat Carroll led the Titans with 29 points and Anna Doane added 10. 

 

Northwest defeats Battle Creek Pennfield 66-32

Anna Hendrich scored 15 to lead NW while Morgan Hanchett and Layne Sleight each scored 14 points.
