Baseball Jonesville 5, Columbia Central 0: Jonesville took game three of the Cascades Conference series with a home win. The Golden Eagles were limited to five hits including two hits apiece by Conor Rentfrow and Chase Dukate. Leslie 10, East Jackson 0: The Blackhawks swept the series outscoring East Jackson 43-4. Conner Marciniak struck out 11 batters in earning the five-inning no-hitter. Hudson Phillips finished with two hits and two RBIs for Leslie. Grass Lake 10, Michigan Center 4: The Warriors broke open a 4-all tie with six runs in the sixth inning from a game called for darkness Monday, Jack Reid finished with two hits and four RBIs and Sal Vitale and Brayden Lape each had two hits and two RBIs. Tyler Husted led Michigan Center with a pair of hits and an RBI. Grass Lake 11, Michigan Center 1: The Warriors scored nine times in the fifth inning to break open a close game. Liam Metheringham and Walker McKibbin both finished with three hits in the contest for GLHS. McKibbin earned the pitching win with a no-hitter and striking out nine batters. Astronomical Observatory Night.   8:30 PM to 10:30 PM.  Students, employees and the community are invited to come and do some stargazing through our telescope! Free; weather permitting.  Jackson College Observatory, Jackson College Central Campus. Baseball Concord 8, Union City 6: Concord scored two runs in the seventh inning to earn the win. Nate Fritz finished with two hits and two RBIs and Levi Raymond finished with two hits for the Yellowjackets. Union City 6, Concord 2: The Yellowjackets scored two runs in the first inning but that is all they scored. Dustin Hamilton finished with one hit and one RBI for Concord. Divine Child 4, Lumen Christi 0: The Titans could only muster three hits against Cam Niehaus of Divine Child in a home loss. Gabe King pitched all seven innings for the Titans striking out eight batters. Divine Child 10, Lumen Christi 1: Paul Sattler finished with a pair of hits for the Titans. Harper Creek 1, Northwest 0: The Mounties spoiled a solid pitching performance by Drew Maples limited Harper Creek to two hits in six innings pitched. Baseball Homer 15,  Vandercook Lake 1: Brady Frohm finished with three stolen bases for the Jayhawks. Homer 28, Vandercook Lake 0: Matthew Melville and Carter Stiles each had hits for VCL. Leslie 13, East Jackson 4: The Blackhawks scored eight times in the first three innings. Jackson Fossitt hit a home run and knocked in three runs for the Blackhawks. Adam Delano finished with one hit and two RBIs for the Trojans. Leslie 15, East Jackson 0: The Trojans could only muster one hit in the contest – by Chris Holloway. Jackson Fossitt finished with two hits and an RBI and struck out 11 batters on the mound for the Blackhawks. Grass Lake 5, Michigan Center 0: Walker McKibbin had three hits and knocked in two runs and Sal Vitale finished with three hits for Grass Lake. Collin Night earned the win for Grass Lake pitching a complete game and collected five strikeouts. Dylan Whitmill and Levi Layher each collected two hits for the Cardinals.
