Baseball Districts Kick off Tuesday

(May 26, 2023 1:25 PM ET) Local Jackson County teams begin Michigan High School Athletic Association baseball district tournaments beginning Tuesday.

The finals are Saturday, June 3 in most cases.

There will be plenty of opportunities for area residents to watch baseball this week. 

Jackson, Grass Lake, Hanover-Horton, Napoleon, and East Jackson will host district tournaments. 

Here are the schedules for the upcoming tournaments. 

Division 1 at Jackson

May 30

Holt at Lakeview 5 p.m. 

June 3

Holt/Lakeview winner vs. Jackson 10 a.m. 

B.C. Central vs. Northwest Noon

District final 2 p.m. 

Division 2 at Coldwater

June 3

Cold/Penn winner vs. Harper Creek 10 a.m. 

Western vs. Marshall Noon

District final 2:30 p.m. 

Division 3 at Grass Lake

June 3

Stockbridge vs. Grass Lake 10 a.m.

Leslie vs. Dansville Noon

District final 2 p.m. 

Division 3 at Hanover-Horton
