(August 31, 2022 10:40 AM) The official Bright Walls Mural Festival map has been released. Bright Walls announced today the 2022 Festival, Bright Walls-The Finale, will take place primarily in a two block area of Downtown Jackson bordered by South Jackson Street, Michigan Avenue, Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive and Cortland Street.
32 murals will be created inside and around the festival area by artists from around the world during the four-day event running September 8-11, 2022. The festival has designated two entrances at Michigan and Mechanic and Cortland and Mechanic. Two stages, the Main Stage (between Lean Rocket Lab and the U.S. Post Office) and the Alley Stage (between the Chase Sports Bar and Ogma Brewing Co.) will feature entertainment from more than 30 acts, including headliners Joe Hertler & The Rainbow Seekers, Your Generation in Concert, The Fresh Kids of Bel-Air, The Verve Pipe, and The Fab Four – Ultimate Beatles Tribute.
Printed maps will be available at the festival and in downtown businesses.
