(August 6, 2023 8:23 PM ET) Tom Butterfield shot a 2-under-par 70 to lead the qualifying for the Jackson City Golf Championship at Cascades Golf Course.
The opening round of match play begins Monday or Tuesday, the round of 16 on Wednesday, quarterfinals on Thursday, semifinals on Friday, and the finals Saturday.
Jamie Clark was the only other golfer to shoot par or better with a 72.
Zach DeFrain in the defending champion in the event and did not have to qualify for the tournament.
Bret Valkuchak, Nick Huff, and Nick Reynolds all shot 73s, and Brian Coon, Cody Lysher, and Jorn Tarpley shots 74s on a rainy Sunday at Cascades.
