(8-13-2024, 12:00PM): After losing in a 35-34 heartbreaker in the first round of the 2023 playoffs, the Michigan Center Cardinals look to get back to where they were just a few years ago.

Coach Troy Allen still remains at the helm of the Cardinals after 12 years. New coaching additions include new Offensive Coordinator Justin Ward after previously being at Milan.

Korey Stewart remains the Defensive Coordinator. “He’s really into the game and wants the best for the kids. He breaths football and is always thinking about football. Holds the team accountable” the team says of Stewart.

Key returners for Michigan Center include juniors Braylen Brown (RB/LB), Hayden Hinkle (QB/FS), Landon Hurd (OL/DL), Chris Fox (OL/DL), Mason Bradley (OL/LB), Travis Collins (WR/DB), Jack Layher (RB/LB) and Brennan Forward (WR/LB).

A lot of seniors return for the Cardinals as well including Logan Jones (RB/OLB), Bodee Adkins (WR/DB), Spencer Berkeypile (K/P/WR/DE), and Nathan Moyer (RB/LB).

Newcomers expected to make an impact include Tre Collins (WR/QB/FS), Tyree Jones (RB/LB), Logan Smith (C/DL), Holden Dean (OL/DL), Braylen Villareal (TE/LB), Landon Sharp (WR/LB), Davion King (RB/DE), Peyton Paquin (TE/DE), and Kaden Leighton (OL/TE/DE).

With seven starters returning on both sides of the ball, Michigan Center looks to compete for a Cascades Conference title and make another deep playoff run in 2024.
