Toys for Tots 12-4-2025. 806 E. Pearl St. Jackson, Mi 49201. A collaboration between The Salvation Army and the U.S. Marine Corps to collect new, unwrapped toys for children up to age 14. Donations can be dropped off at the Jackson Police Department, 216 E. Washing Ave. (Mon-Fri, 7am to 5pm) through December 15th. Poetry Out Loud @ Jackson College 12-4-2025 | Photo Gallery
Poetry Out Loud 12-4-2025. Jackson College invites area high school students to participate in a dynamic poetry recitation competition. The winner of JC’s local competition will advance to the state Poetry Out Loud competition in Lansing in March 2026 (precise dates TBD). The state champion will receive $200 and will advance to the national finals next spring in Washington, D.C., where $50,000 in awards and school/organizational stipends will be distributed.
