Soccer Mason 4, Jackson 0: For more than 45 minutes the Jackson High School Vikings held Mason in check in soccer on the road Tuesday night. But with three key players out for the Vikings, it was only a matter of time before the Bulldogs started scoring. Mason scored with less than 30 seconds remaining in the first half and scored three more times in a 4-0 win over the Vikings. With the loss Jackson is now 2-3 on the season. “Mason is always strong and one of the top teams in the state in Division 2,” Jackson Coach Travis Baker said. “We are down two starting defenders and a midfielder, so we knew it was going to be tough.” Mason scored six minutes into the second half to break open a 1-0 game. They scored two more goals in the second half. The Bulldogs outshot Jackson 13-2. Jackson goalie Zoe Langley made 10 saves in goal for the Vikings. Baseball Hanover-Horton 18, Addison 15: The Comets scored 15 runs in the first inning and held on for the win. Shane Lucas had three RBIs for Hanover-Horton and Randy Lucas had multiple hits. Hanover-Horton 3, Addison 0: GameChanger had the score listed in the top of the fifth inning, but no final. Garrett Gumper allowed only two hits and struck out nine batters through four innings.  Columbia Central 8, Madison 4: Luke McDorman knocked in four runs for Columbia Central. Columbia Central 13, Madison 5: Columbia Central High School player Cameron Adams had two hits and knocked in three runs for the Golden Eagles (4-4 overall).  Napoleon 9, Michigan Center 5: Josh Adams had a pair of hits and knocked in three runs for Napoleon.
