Halloween Events

Halloween 2015 is being celebrated on Friday and Saturday in the Jackson area with several community events.  Jackson College hosts its second annual "Spooktacular" Friday from 5:30 to 7pm at Potter Center.  In addition to candy, children (age 12 and under) will be treated to a special Halloween movie and other surprises. Spring Arbor University will host  "Halloween in the Science Lab" 6:30 p.m. Friday on the campus.  SAU will also host its night of fright from 9 to 11 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Beebe on the campus of Spring Arbor University. On Saturday, The Jackson YMCA along with Partnership Park, hosts a Trunk or Treat event in the Y parking lot.  Hours are 6 to 8pm.  Hot dogs and cocoa will be served. Westwinds Church, at Robinson and McCain, will host indoor trick or treating from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Jackson Free Methodist Church in Vandercook Lake will host its Trunk or Treat from 6 to 8 p.m. on Halloween. The Jackson District Library will be celebrating Halloween at several branches.  Details at www.myjdl.org. All events are free and open to the public.
