(March 16, 2022 4:27 PM) Molly Kaser, President and CEO of Center for Family Health, has announced her planned retirement from the federally qualified health center. Ms. Kaser is set to retire on March 31, 2022.
A thorough search for the community health center’s next President and CEO is underway and is expected to conclude by late summer. Sara Benedetto, the current Chief Operating Officer, was appointed as Interim President and CEO effective March 28, 2022.
“It is bittersweet”, noted Steven Hogwood, Board Chair for the Center for Family Health. “Molly has done an outstanding job leading this organization. We have seven locations, serve more than 35,000 community members, and are seen as one of the examples of how you serve the community. We are so proud of her and will miss her leadership.”
“I am fortunate to have worked with many amazing people at the Center including our board of directors and our staff. I will certainly miss working with them, said Molly Kaser. “I am looking forward to having more time to spend with friends and family. I have a few volunteer commitments and will be doing some traveling.”
“Sara Benedetto is the perfect choice to serve as interim.” She joined CFH as a volunteer nurse in the early 1990’s and has played a significant role in every step of our growth. She will provide leadership and stability during this interim period,” stated Molly Kaser.
“I am excited for Molly as she heads into her well-deserved retirement. For many years, Molly has tirelessly put her vision into action making sure that the door to accessing health care is open and welcoming to all.” stated Sara Benedetto, COO. “I look forward to serving the community during this interim period.”
