GIRLS BASKETBALL

Concord 81, Quincy 47: Cieara Barrett scored 31 points to lead the Yellowjackets and Bradie Lehman added 20 points. Concord is now 1-1 on the season.

 

Michigan Center 53, Columbia Central 39: The Cardinals earned a huge Cascades victory on the road on Tuesday night. Mayrese Vieau led MC with 15 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds. McKynley Gaddy added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Gabby Gaydosh led the Golden Eagles with 18 points.

 

Hanover-Horton 47, Leslie 26: Molly Soper led the Comets with 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Aly Stroede added 11 points, 4 steals, and 4 rebounds.

 

Grass Lake 78, Homer 36: Reese Lape led the Warriors with 20 points, 7 rebounds, 5 steals, and 3 assists. Mya Viegelahn added 14 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals, and 5 assists. Four different Warriors scored 10+ points in the Cascades victory.

 

Western 60, Coldwater 46: Aubree Allen ties the Western all-time record for most rebounds in a game with 26 boards on Tuesday night.

 

Jackson 44, Lansing Everett 7: Kialye Harrell scored 12 points to lead the Vikings and improve to 2-1 on the season.

 

East Jackson 69, Vandercook Lake 15: Kolee Sajdak led the Trojans with 23 points and 8 rebounds.

BOYS/MENS BASKETBALL

Detroit Loyola 56, Lumen Christi 45: In a battle of #1 vs #2 in Division 3, the top-ranked Bulldogs defeated LC in Jackson on Tuesday night. The Titans cut their deficit to just three points in the final quarter but couldn’t overcome answers from Loyola. LCCHS falls to 2-1 and travels to Dearborn Divine Child on Friday night.
