Girls Regional 4 at Chelsea: Jackson County state qualifiers include: Bella Huston of Columbia Central who won the title at 190 pounds; Kayla Bonner of Jackson was third at 235 pounds; Yazlyn Fajardo of Northwest finished fourth at 115 pounds; and Drew Swihart of Hanover-Horton was fourth at 135 pounds. The four advance to the Michigan High School Athletic Association state finals at Ford Field in Detroit starting Feb. 28.

Cascades Conference singles: Adam Delano of East Jackson defeated Brady Soper 172-165 in the boys championship match at JAX 60. Delano defeated a pair of Pirates on his way to the final. He defeated Peyton Thorne of Napoleon 189-173 and Ethan Rose of Napoleon 193-190. Marielle Schafran of Grass Lake won the girls’ title on Sunday.
