MHSAA BOYS BASKETBALL DISTRICT FINALS
Division 1 at Mason
Jackson 65, Jackson Northwest 47: The Vikings defeat NW for the second time this season and win their first district championship since 2012. Northwest was outscored 18-7 in the third quarter which blew the game open for the Vikings. Berkley Drummond led the scoring for JHS with 15 points, Jaydon Ross added 11 points and Tre Pierce scored 10 points in an all-around team effort. Jackson advances to the Division 1 Regional Semifinal; they will face Kalamazoo Central (20-2) on Tuesday at Loy Norrix HS.

Division 2 at Tecumseh
Michigan Center 60, Adrian 53: The Cardinals outscored Adrian 21-13 in the final quarter to win a district title at Tecumseh on Friday night. Travis & Tre Collins each scored 18 points to lead Michigan Center, Jayden Watson added 15 points and 7 rebounds. MC wins a district title in HC Anthony Howard’s first year at the helm, they will face Lansing Sexton (22-2) in the D2 regional semifinal on Tuesday (3/3) at Fowlerville.

Division 3 at Leslie
Springport 58, Stockbridge 42: The Spartans continue its historic season, winning their first district title since 1999 over their Big 8 rival. Jake Kregel led with 15 points, 8 assists and 8 rebounds. Dallas Higelmire and Tucker Wiginton each added 12 points. Springport will face Laingsburg (13-11) in the D3 Regional Semifinal on Tuesday (3/3) at New Lothrop HS.

Division 3 at Napoleon
Jackson Lumen Christi 66, Napoleon 40: Broden Burgess led the Titans with 22 points. Ashton Callan and Zack Tropea added 12 points each in the win. Coach Josh Tropea earned his 300th career win with this district title. JLC will face Flint New Standard (18-4) at New Lothrop HS on Tuesday in the D3 Regional Semifinals.

Division 4 at Litchfield
Concord 85, Litchfield 62: Concord won their 2nd straight district title against the host Terriers. Jett Smith scored 36 points to lead the way. Connor Stevens added 21 points and 11 rebounds. Concord will host the D4 Regionals next week; they face Hillsdale Academy in the semifinal on Tuesday at 5:30pm.

MHSAA BOWLING STATE FINALS (TEAM)
Division 2 at Century Lanes (Waterford): The Northwest boys squad finished 11th as a team out of 16 with a team total of 3,054.
(GIRLS) Division 3 at JAX60 (Jackson): The Lady Warriors finished in the top four at JAX60 in the state finals, falling to eventual champ Milan in the semifinal with a team total of 2,831.
Division 4 at Skore Lanes (Taylor): Vandercook Lake finished in 13th place as a team out of 16 in the boys team final on Friday, rolling a team total of 2,855. In the girls final, Lumen Christi finished in 11th place and East Jackson took 15th out of 16 qualifying teams.
