Napoleon 57, Addison 54: Napoleon High School earned a Cascades Conference come-from-behind win on the road Tuesday. Napoleon trailed 40-19 in the third quarter finishing the game on a 38-14 run capped by a game-winning 3-point basket by Brady McLain at the buzzer. Tyler Nall finished with 20 points, and Gavin Davis and McLain each added 14 points for the Pirates.
Columbia Central 46, Michigan Center 44: Derek Sanders scored 18 points and Nolan Schiel added 13 points for CCHS. Jayden Watson scored 21 points for Michigan Center.
East Jackson 59, Vandercook Lake 43: The Trojans are one a modest two-game winning streak with the road win at Vandercook Lake.
Grass Lake 59, Homer 44: Brayden Lape scored 25 points and pulled down seven rebounds and Sal Vitale finished with 12 points, four assists, and seven steals for Grass Lake in the win. The Warriors are now 14-0 on the season.
Leslie 67, Hanover-Horton 62: Luke Soper finished with 37 points and J.J. Russ added 11 points for the Comets. Roman DeRose scored 20 points, Jayden Colby added 13 points, and Conner Marciniak finished with 11 points for Leslie.
Calhoun Christian 44, Jackson Christian 36: Aaden Breton scored 17 points and J.D. Locke added 11 points for the Royals.
Lumen Christi 73, Greenhills 27: Twelve players scored for the Titans as they improved to 15-1 on the season.
Union City 47, Springport 40: Tucker Wiginton scored 16 points and Brody Baum added 10 points for the Spartans.
Concord 62, Quincy 42: Connor Stevens scored a season-high 27 points – including 17 in the third quarter – leading Concord to the win. Darrell Dean scored 15 points for Concord (9-7 overall, 6-3 Big 8).
Girls Basketball
Jackson Christian 26, Calhoun 20: The Royals were led by Rennie Huff with 18 points, seven rebounds, and five steals and Shaina McCombs had a team-high 10 rebounds.
Lumen Christi 63, St. Ursula 30: Leading the way offensively for the Titans were Kenna Hunt with 23 points, Lucy Wrozek finished with 11 points, and Paige Lefere scored 10 in the win.
St. Johns 61, Northwest 18: The Mounties fell at home in non-conference action Tuesday night.
Springport 65, Charlotte 32: Chloey Speer scored 19 points, Reese Siefert finished with 12 points and eight rebounds, and Morgan Shoemaker tallied 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Spartans.
Western 57, Arbor Prep 28: Rayah Hitt finished with 19 points and Kaia Bruneel hit five 3-point shots in scoring 15 points for the Panthers.
Competitive Cheer
Big Eight Jamboree at Springport: Springport finished fifth (612) and Concord seventh (567) at the Big Eight Conference jamboree at Springport High School.
Cascades Conference jamboree: Hanover-Horton won their fourth consecutive Cascades Conference jamboree with a score of 748. Michigan Center was second (739), Columbia Central was fourth (620), Vandercook Lake took fifth place (610), Napoleon finished eighth (579), Grass Lake was ninth (576), and East Jackson placed 11th (502).
