Boys Basketball
Columbia Central 71, East Jackson 40: Derek Sanders scored 24 points, Nolan Schiel added 15 points, and David Munro and Andrew Hosmer each scored eight points for CCHs. DeAngelo Alexander tallied 12 points and K.J. Olivier added nine points for the Trojans.
Grass Lake 39, Jonesville 36: Brayden Lape was the man for Grass Lake scoring 26 points in the win. Grass Lake is 8-0 and faces Michigan Center at home Friday in a battle of top teams in the Cascades Conference.
Hanover-Horton 45, Napoleon 32: Hanover-Horton has won five of its last six games following the win.
Michigan Center 74, Vandercook Lake 37: Four players scored in double digits led by Jayden Watson with 17 points. The Cardinals jumped out to a 28-4 lead in the first quarter. Henry Wright scored 13 points, Kaden Leighton added 12 points, and Tre Collins scored 11 points and dished five assists for MCHS.
Leslie 60, Addison 35: Conner Marciniak scored 14 points to lead Leslie and Conner DeMuse and Mikey Trumble both scored 10 points for Addison.
Girls Basketball
Athens 50, Jackson Christian 45: Rennie Huff scored 28 points and created five steals and Ella Boll added nine points and nine rebounds for Jackson Christian.
Wrestling
Napoleon Quad Meet: Napoleon High School went 2-0 on the night with wins over Hanover-Horton (50-24) and Michigan Center (51-17). The Cardinals lost to Addison 45-32. Brayden Maher (157) and Carson Warner (165) each recorded a pair of pins for Napoleon. Carter Mikolajczyk (132), Rober Hill (150), and Andrew Beadenkopf (175) were all 2-0 on the night for Michigan Center.

Vandercook Lake Quad: Columbia Central and Manchester were both 2-0 on the night at VCL. CCHS defeated Grass Lake (54-28) and the host school (83-0). Manchester defeated Grass Lake (64-14) and Vandercook (77-0). Dylan Boone (285) recorded a pair of pins for CCHS on the night. Aiden Johnson (106) and Aiden Durham (138) registered two wins on the mat for Grass Lake.
Harper Creek 1-8 Quad: Northwest High School went 1-1 on the night with a 39-38 loss to Harper Creek and a 65-4 win over Lumen Christi. The host school defeated the Titans 83-0. Jack Edwards (150), Juan Asta (157), and Kaiden Goodman (190) all recorded a pair of pins for the Mounties. James Hart earned the only victory against Northwest with a major decision at 175 pounds.
Maple Valley 52, Concord 6: Jordyan Metcalf scored a pin for Concord at 150 pounds.
Western 52, Coldwater 23: Elijah Crist (126), Connor Wojton (138), Camden Cole (157), Josh Corts (175), and Max Harris (285) all earned pins for the Panthers in the match.
Competitive Cheer
Springport Invitational: Springport finished sixth (550) and Concord seventh (519) at the Spartan Snow Invitational.
Boys Bowling
Addison 26, Columbia Central 4: Zack Schultz finished with a 215 game for Columbia Central. Michael Shaw rolled a pair of 109 games for Addison.
Grass Lake 16, East Jackson 14: Logan Torcolacci rolled a 233 game to lead Grass Lake. Kaden Mortzfield led East Jackson scoring a 423 series at Suburban Lanes.
Michigan Center 17, Napoleon 13: Ethan Rose led Napoleon with a 451 series, Nolan Williams rolled a personal best 234 game, and Peyton Thorne added a 212 game.
Jonesville 22, Vandercook Lake 8: Kyle Trajnowski finished with a team-high 485 series and Matthew Melville rolled a 207 game for VCL.
Girls Bowling
Addison 25, Columbia Central 5: Alexis Henry led CCHS with a 309 series at JAX 60. Addison was led by Emma Taylor with a 152 game.
Grass Lake 29, East Jackson 1: Shandi Stark finished with a 419 series and Mariella Schafran bowled a 192 game for Grass Lake. Dominic Hemry finished with a 133 game for EJHS.

Jackson United 4, Bedford 1: Brennan Forward scored a hat trick and Peyton Paquin scored a goal and added an assist for Jackson United. Alex Chappell earned the win in net with 21 saves for JU (6-7).
University Liggett 4, Lumen Christi 1: The Titans fell on the road Wednesday night.

Men’s Basketball
Glen Oaks 82, Jackson College 70: Savonn Campbell finished with 19 points to lead four players in double digits for Jackson College. Bobby Roberts scored 15 points, Evan Sloan added 14 points, and Cooper Johnston finished with 11 points for Jackson College (2-12). The Jets will travel to Oakland Community College Saturday for a 3 p.m. tipoff.

Spring Arbor 80, Goshen 45: Shane Rykse had a career-high 23 points in the win for Spring Arbor. Gabe Newhof added 22 points and Kevyn Robertson finished with 10 points for SAU (13-3 overall, 5-1 CL).
Women’s Basketball
Goshen 72, Spring Arbor 65: The Cougars fell on the road in basketball action Wednesday night. Alana Nelson scored 24 points, Emma Smieska added 15 points, and Sydney Aunins tallied 12 points for SAU (10-6 overall, 3-3 CL).
Lansing CC 59, Jackson College 40: Michelle McGee scored 13 points and Zoie Bamm added 11 points as the Jets fell at home Wednesday night. The Jets are now 10-4 following its lowest offensive output of the season – averaging 77 points per game. Jackson College travels to Oakland Community College Saturday for a 1 p.m. game.
