SEC Finals at Jackson: The Vikings finished second to Chelsea High School 555-499 at home over the weekend. Colin Moran won a pair of events for Jackson at the home meet Saturday. Moran won the 500-yard freestyle in 5:06 and the 200-yard intermediate medley in 2:08. Logan Koszegi was first in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:03 for the Vikings.

Jackson College 12,  Ancilla 2: Jackson College won its first game of the 2025 season with a win in Florida. Brenden Cole and Cory Viola scattered five hits over seven innings in the victory. The speed Jets continued to terrorize the basepaths stealing seven bases including three by Malachi Murray. Zach Grinde finished with three hits and three RBIs and Jaxon Copas had a pair of hits and two RBIs. Rashad Franklin and Murray finished with two hits apiece for Jackson (1-4). The Jets continue its Spring Break road trip with a game today at Seminal State College of Florida beginning at 2 p.m.
