Lumen Christi 2, Hanover Horton 0: Wes Learned batted 2-3 to lead the Titans in game one. Kellen Crowley earned the win on the hill, allowing three hits in five innings.
Lumen Christi 9, Hanover Horton 2: LC scored six runs in the 4th inning to pull away and win game two as they swept the Comets. Benny Gaston was the Tri-County Water ‘Player of the Game’ on JTV’s live broadcast, batting 2-4 with 2 RBIs. Paul Sattler, Harrison Botke, and Gibson Shore each added two hits. LC has now won 11 straight games and improves to 24-7 overall. The replay of the live JTV broadcast will air again on Saturday and Sunday.
Leslie 10, Michigan Center 0: Easton Hawkins batted 3-3 with 4 RBIs for Leslie in the single game makeup. Jon Swagart added two hits for the Blackhawks. Marshall Warder batted the only hit for MC. Leslie improves to 21-7, and Michigan Center falls to 12-14.

SOFTBALL
Grass Lake 5, Springport 3: Makenzie Hilberer and Morgan Conrad each batted two hits for the Warriors in game one. Conrad also earned the win in the circle, throwing 11 strikeouts in a complete game.
Grass Lake 10, Springport 5: Makenzie Hilberer drove in five runs on three hits to lead GL as they swept an exceptional Springport squad. Leilah Smith also batted three hits, and Lily McVicker batted four hits. Kennedy Collins drove in three runs on her two hits, and Kayleigh Hilberer took the pitching win. Grass Lake is now 22-2 overall with eight straight wins.
(8 inn.) Napoleon 9, Homer 8: The Pirates earned their second extra-inning win over Homer this season in a single game makeup. Senior Kaitlyn Fall earned the win, she struck out 7 batters and reached a career milestone with her 500th career strikeout. Jada Gallagher had 4 hits and Katelyn Ault had 2 hits and 3 RBIs to lead the Pirates offense. Napoleon improves to 14-9 overall.
Lumen Christi 15, Hanover Horton 3: Lily Ganton batted 4-4 with 3 RBIs to lead the Titans lineup in game one. Ganton and Bella Wrozek both hit home runs, Wrozek batted 2-4 with 3 RBIs and earned the pitching win. Ollie Powers batted 3-4 with 4 RBIs. Ellen Thompson and Lucy Wrozek each drove in two runs.
Lumen Christi 23, Hanover Horton 8: Bree Okoniewski batted four hits with six RBIs, and Lucy Wrozek also batted four hits with five RBIs to lead LC as they swept the Comets. Lily Ganton hit two home runs to finish a 3-HR day. Ellen Thompson, Ollie Powers, and Kam Godair each added two hits, and Mallory Arcaro drove in three runs. LC improves to 18-5-1 and defeats Hanover Horton, ranked honorable mention in Division 3.

Michigan Center 8, Jonesville 1: McKynley Gaddy scored five goals in a dominant performance to lead the Cardinals, and Katie Wynn added two goals.
Napoleon 3, Hanover Horton 0: Meghan Smith scored two goals to lead the Pirates.
Grass Lake 6, Leslie 1: Taylor Hoppe and Adelynn Kidd each scored two goals to lead the Warriors. Vivian Vitale added a goal and an assist. GL is now 10-1-3 in conference play.
Parma Western 3, BC Harper Creek 1: Lola Berdiner scored two goals to lead the Panthers in a key I-8 conference matchup. Madison Brandt scored the third goal off a Berdiner assist, and Aubree Allen had seven saves in net. Western improves to 11-2-2 on the season and play the Beavers again in the opening postseason game next week.

Division 3 at Sturgis: Chehek Bharatiya of Western HS reached the championship match in #1 singles, and Ellie McCollum reached the finals in #2 singles. The #1, 2, and 3 doubles pairings of Becca Brushaber/Sophia Nguyen, Anna Wilcox/Anna Willinger, Karly Foster/Natalie Hyde all won their respective championship matches.
