SOFTBALL

Columbia Central 19, Adrian 0 – Gianna Evans and Rylee Knapp each batted two hits for the Golden Eagles. Hailey Wetherby struck out seven batters and allowed no hits in three innings pitched. CC finishes the regular season 27-8 and will play at Napoleon on Friday to begin the postseason.

 

Northwest 16, Napoleon 1 – Mollie Robinson and Shannon Christner each batted 3-for-3 for the Mounties. NW scored 10 runs in the first inning in game one and didn’t look back.

Northwest 9, Napoleon 2 – Four different Mounties batted two hits to sweep the non-conference doubleheader. Hayley Gardner earned the pitching win as NWHS improves to 20-9 with one game left on Thursday before the district tournament.

 

Hudson 17, Springport 3

Springport 14, Hudson 3 – Springport collected 14 hits in the game. Leadoff hitter Ashlyn Underhill led Springport with three hits in four at bats. Jordan Reed led Springport with four runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-3 on the day.
