BASEBALL

Lumen Christi 6, BC Pennfield 0: Harrison Botke batted 3-3 with an RBI to lead the Titans in the single game, and Gibson Shore added two hits. Brennan Brogan was the winning pitcher, allowing two hits in five innings. LC has now won four straight and improves to 17-7 overall.

 

Northwest 12, Hastings 11: Three different players batted two hits for the Mounties in game one. Avery Anspaugh threw eight strikeouts in a complete game.

 

Northwest 6, Hastings 1: Five different players combined for the Mounties’ five hits as they took the I-8 sweep. Northwest improves to 10-6-1 overall.

 

Parma Western 7, Tecumseh 2: Isaiah Norwood batted 3-3 with an RBI for Western in game one. Andrew Parrott was the winning pitcher, throwing seven strikeouts in six innings.

 

Parma Western 7, Tecumseh 6: Isaiah Norwood batted 2-4 with 2 RBIs for the Panthers as they took a non-conference sweep. Brody Parrott drove in two runs with a hit. Western improves to 18-2-1 overall.

 

SOFTBALL

Hudson 7, Springport 6

 

Springport 16, Hudson 4: Morgan Shoemaker had a dominant performance at the plate, batting 5-5 with 5 RBIs for Springport. Ashlyn Underhill batted 4-5 and was the winning pitcher. Springport splits the non-league doubleheader and improves to 18-4 overall.
