Springport 6, Bronson 5 – Drew Sanford struck out 11 batters on the hill for SHS, Sanford also hit a home run on offense to help lead the Spartans’ late rally.

Springport 4, Bronson 3 – Springport rallied again in game two to sweep the doubleheader, scoring two runs in the 7th inning. A full recap from both games can be found here.

Hanover Horton 12, Adrian Madison 0 – Ava Smith led HH with four hits in game one, Alexyn DuBois added three hits and struck out nine batters.

Hanover Horton 17, Adrian Madison 1 – Alexyn DuBois batted 4-for-4 with four RBIs for the Comets. Ava Smith and Hallee Swihart each added three hits as HH improves to 24-3 overall.

 

Michigan Center 18, Vandercook Lake 2 – Lilly Nutt batted 3-for-3 with four RBIs for the Cardinals, and Emma Pond struck out 13 batters.

Michigan Center 16, Vandercook Lake 1 – Nora Fleming drove in four runs to lead the Cardinals’ batting on Friday. Jaidyn Fulk added three hits as MC improves to 14-8.

 

Napoleon 13, Olivet 0 – Kaitlyn Fall was dominant in the circle, as the starter rang up 13 strikeouts in Napoleon’s victory on Friday. Fall gave up one hit and zero runs over five innings while walking one.

Napoleon 13, Olivet 5 – Haven Marker collected three hits in five at bats, as Napoleon defeated Olivet on Friday. Marker singled in the first inning, singled in the fourth inning, and singled in the fifth inning.

GIRLS:

1st – Grass Lake 107.5 – GLHS has now won the Girls T&F conference championship for the 5th consecutive year, making that the longest streak ever by any conference school.

2nd – Leslie 99

3rd – Homer 80

BOYS: Concord finished in 4th place out of 10 schools at the home meet. Darell Dean placed 5th in the high jump, while Maddox Hutchinson secured 4th in the pole vault.Trenton Frazer delivered a standout performance in the 300-meter hurdles, earning 2nd place and meeting the early state qualifying standard for the event. Springport placed in 6th.

GIRLS: The Concord girls ran their fastest time ever in the 800-meter relay and in doing so they got under the mark to qualify for the MHSAA State Finals on May 31st.  Running on that relay and finishing first in the meet was Bradie Lehman, Annie Saenz, Hannah Ryan, and Cieara Barrett. Those same four ran on the 1600-meter relay team that finished first. Springport finished in 5th place out of 10.
