Hanover Horton 3, Columbia Central 2: Hanover Horton stays undefeated in Cascades play, going to 7-0 on the night. HH pulled out a tough victory, going all the way to five sets. The Comets are now ranked #7 in the state for D3 in this week’s rankings.

GIRLS GOLF
Grass Lake Jamboree (Calderone GC): Napoleon earned another conference win, taking home first place with a team total of 186. Anna McCubbins shot a 38 for the Pirates, taking first individually. Katelyn Ault finished with a 40 for 2nd place, and Kelsey Fausz finished in 3rd for CCHS with a 42.
CROSS COUNTRY
Big 8 at Reading: Concord finished 2nd in the girls race with four runners in the top 10. Springport girls finished in 6th place as a team. Concord finished 4th and Springport 6th in the boys race. Paul Herendeen led the Yellowjackets, finishing top five with a time of 18:42.31.
Cascades at Leslie: Grass Lake finished first as a team in the girls race. Adalyn Jarchow finished 2nd for GL running a 21:28.12 race. The host Blackhawks took home first in the boys race. Kenneth Mangles ran a time of 17:17.91 for Leslie. Andrew Norman placed 3rd for Napoleon and Connor Sherwood took 4th for the Warriors.
Cascades-West at Homer: Jonesville took home first in the girls race as a team. Hanover Horton finished with two runners in the top three including Maisey Toteff and Brynlee Swihart. Hanover Horton and Jonesville tied for first in the boys race, each with 39 points. Columbia Central was led by Clint Couchman with a time of 16:46.84.
I-8 at Hastings: Western dominated the boys race, winning by a team total of 29 points. Freshman Logan Cristian finished 2nd for the Panthers, running a time of 17:02.6. Northwest finished in 6th for the boys race.
