(#23) Spring Arbor Univ. 3, (#16) Marian 1: (saucougars.com) – Spring Arbor University delivered a statement win on the road Wednesday night, knocking off No. 16 Marian University 3-1 in the Crossroads League opener to stay perfect on the season. The No. 23 ranked Cougars improved to 13-0 overall and are now 1-0 in conference play. The team’s 13 wins are the most victories by any team in the country so far this season.

CROSS COUNTRY

BOYS Springport Invitational: Northwest finished 3rd and Michigan Center in 4th in the boys D1 race at Springport. In the D2 race, Concord took third place, the host school fifth, JPEC in sixth and Vandercook Lake 9th.

GIRLS Springport Invitational: The MC Cardinals finished in third place as a team in the girls D1 race, and the Mounties finished in fourth. In the D2 race, the Yellowjackets of Concord won by 13 points and Springport finished 5th.
