Jackson Christian 3, Tekonsha 0: Malia Kniffen had a banner night with 15 kills, 8 assists, 2 blocks and 9 aces for the Royals. Makennah Heins also contributed 18 assists, 11 kills and 7 aces.

Addison Quad: Napoleon defeated both Homer and East Jackson 3-0 on Tuesday, the Pirates held their opponents to single digit points three times. Jenna Yob and Hallie Duvall each had 26 digs for the Pirates and Kate Fall added 55 assists. NHS is now 9-1 on the year.

Grass Lake Quad: Grass Lake went 1-1, defeating Michigan Center 3-0 and losing to Hanover Horton 3-0. GL was led by Hayley Laurie with 37 assists and Addalynn Hensen with 17 kills.

Manchester Quad: Columbia Central defeated both Jonesville and Leslie 3-0 to earn two Cascades victories.

GIRLS GOLF

Western Jamboree at Arbor Hills: Northwest finished 3rd as a team on Tuesday, and Raeghan Waldron carded an 88 to lead the Mounties. The host school finished 4th as Genevieve Davis led the Panthers with a 95.

Vandercook Lake Jamboree at Sharp Park: Napoleon dominated in the conference meet, winning by 24 shots as a team. Anna McCubbins shot a 39 for the Pirates. Columbia Central and Michigan Center rounded out the top three. Avery Rhodes finished 2nd with a 41 for NHS and Kelsey Fausz placed 3rd with a 45.

Jackson at AA Skyline: JHS finished in 3rd place. Maddie Fleming led the Vikings with a 76.

CROSS COUNTRY

I-8 at Northwest: The Western boys team dominated in their race, scoring just 18 points. Edison Lopeman finished first with a time of 16:55.6. WHS finished second in the girls race as a team by just one point, Bridget Fullerton ran a 20:34.0.

Leslie Blackhawk Invitational: The host school finished second in the boys race, with Jackson Prep finishing 7th and Michigan Center 10th. The Cardinals finished 6th in the girls race.

Concord at Eaton Rapids: In the girls race, Haley Stimer and Cieara Barrett finished in the top 10 to lead the Yellowjackets. Paul Herendeen finished 6th in the boys race for CHS with a time of 18:57.

Jackson at AA Huron SEC Jamboree: The Vikings finished 12th as a team in the girls race in the opening SEC meet and 13th place in the boys race.
