The Comets were led offensively by Brynn DeGlee with 17 kills, Quinn Knoblauch with 34 assists and 9 kills, and defensively by Collins DeGlee and Halee Krage with 12 digs each. Bradie Lehman had 20 kills, 18 digs, and was 15/15 serving with 3 aces for the Yellowjackets; Layla Claus had 24 assists, 9 digs, and was 18/19 serving with an ace.

I-8 Jamboree at Western: The host Panthers placed fifth out of seven teams in the first conference jamboree of the season, with Northwest placing sixth. Genevieve Davis led Western with a 45. Ava Webb led Northwest with a 46.

Jackson, Tecumseh at Dexter: Aiyana Walker, Chloe Richard, and Emery Waldron each shot a 69 for the Vikings.
