(July 21, 2020 3:39 PM) As part of Phase 1 of JCDOT’s McDevitt Avenue Reconstruction Project, the intersection of McDevitt Avenue and Oak Lane Road will be closed starting on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. The intersection will be closed for about two weeks. Access through the intersection will not be maintained during this time. Local access to McDevitt Avenue will be maintained at all times from Draper Road.
The following detours will be provided:
- McDevitt Avenue to/from US-127: Draper Road, Floyd Avenue
- US-127 to/from M-50: South Street ramps, South Street
- M-50 to McDevitt Avenue: M-50 North, Cooper Street, Oak Lane, Park Road
- McDevitt Avenue to M-50: Draper Road, Floyd Avenue, US-127 North
- Cooper Street to M-50: Oak Lane, Park Road, Draper Road, Floyd Avenue, US-127 North
This project was made possible in large part by a Michigan Enhancement Grant from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.
The contractor for Phase 1 of this project is Dunigan Brothers Inc., headquartered in
Jackson,Michigan.
Phase 1 of the McDevitt Avenue Reconstruction Project started on Monday, April 27, 2020.
