(8-12-2026, 5:00PM): Columbia Central High School has found its new girls basketball head coach, hiring longtime coach Marc Comstock to take over the program.
Comstock was most recently an assistant at Tecumseh High School, where the Lady Indians squad finished as the 2025 Division 2 state champion and ’26 runner-up.
He has also coached boys teams at Tecumseh, Grass Lake, Addison, and Adrian high schools.
Comstock takes over for Jake Dickerson, who led the program for just two seasons after replacing Codi Cole, who now leads the boys program at Stockbridge HS.
Columbia Central finished 20-5 last season and won a district title before falling to eventual D3 state champ Lumen Christi. CC has won a district title in four of the last five seasons.
