Michigan Department of Corrections Director Dan Heyns discussed various issues of the MDOC on today’s show, including the need to hire 1,000 corrections officers in the next few months. MDOC is partnering with Jackson College in offering a Corrections Officer Academy and the college is now enrolling students for the next semester.
