SAU logoADRIAN, MI – The Spring Arbor University women’s tennis team traveled to Adrian, MI to face the undefeated the Adrian College Bulldogs and swept both the doubles and singles for the 9-0 win to hand Adrian their first loss of the year.

Erin Hossack and Quincy Banini teamed up at #1 doubles for an 8-5 win as did Jenna Bart and Katie Storrer at #2 doubles.  Paige Fallu and Mary Kate McShane took the #3 doubles match with a 8-1 score.

The singles action went decisively, all in straight sets, to the Cougars with Banini taking #1 singles 6-4, 6-2, Jenna Bart took #2  at 7-5, 6-2, and at #3 singles was all Katie Storrer by the score of 6-2, 6-2.  Paige Fallu dominated her match at #6 singles with a 6-0, 6-2 win.

With the match fully in hand, Mary Kate McShane and Erin Hossack won 8-2, 8-1 respectfully in eight game pro-set matches.

With the win, the Cougars improve to 7-5 and will have one more match before the team head to Hilton Head Island for Spring Break and four matches in South Carolina.  On Wednesday, February 26, the Cougars will make the short trip to Albion College to take on the Britons at 4:00 p.m.
